Stick with the same type. All white gold, all silver, etc. It just looks kind of tacky if you mix and match, but an engagement isn’t a huge piece of jewelry, so you couold probably still wear gold with it.
It really doesn’t matter even though white gold is going to look like silver, if you like the way they look together it’s your choice. However, when you don’t wear your other accessories, white gold could look very nice. It’s all about your preference. Congratulations!

now people mix all different kinds of jewlry so it doesnt really matter. gold and silver are worn together it doesnt really matter
